I am currently seeking a new editor to welcome to the team! Basically I need someone to point out all my flaws and tell me how I can improve my writing. I currently have 3-4 people that do this for me from time to time but I want to have at least a solid 5 people to help me. No previous training is required though I do request that you edit a small story (average length) and send it back to me with corrections for the story. Think of it as a test. The story will be emailed to you if you contact me.
Why I am doing this:
This is an opportunity that I wish I had forever ago. There are not many editing internships that can be done online. I am in a position where I can change that. "With great power comes great responsibilities." I accept the responsibility and will do my best to assist devoted authors/editors/mangaka/anything creative.
Benefits: You get to read the stories first, if you would like I can recommend some amazing books, anime, manga and games. I also make an awesome friend.
***This is a non paying job, mostly for experience. I can write a fantastic recommendation letter.
Requirements: Must be able to read English. Must not get scared easily. Must be able to establish trust between all team members.
Bonus's: Any degree or high marks in English. Can easily read something from a Psycho male point of view and give gender appropriate critiques.
(What I don't want to see is "He wouldn't actually kill them after that! Its so heart touching. He would kiss her and then let her go!" He is a psychopath. Heart touching isn't exactly a game changer for him.)
